A blended learning format meets the demands for efficient learning and training for professionals, under the pressure of job duties. Blended learning can increase access and flexibility for students. The online part allows students to learn at their own pace and at any time, completing modules over a number of days or weeks, anywhere around the world. The first course TNO-ESI offers in this format is the course 'Architecting for Business Value', addressing the fundamental aspects of architecting for developing high-tech embedded systems. a03dac18-f232-4a2a-acdb-1b9a1a7d261d Wed, 13 Jan 2016 10:45:00 +0100 Cooperation between TNO-ESI and Fraunhofer IESE ratified through Memorandum of Understanding The research group for Embedded Systems Innovation (TNO-ESI) of the Netherlands Organization for Applied Research (TNO) and the Fraunhofer Institute for Experimental Software Engineering (Fraunhofer IESE) will intensify their cooperation on research and development for high-tech and software-intensive systems. TNO-ESI and Fraunhofer IESE are leading organizations that aim to advance the expertise in software and systems engineering through strategic cooperative research. 69df0d1d-81c2-448b-a149-7d9dc0fe9a96 Tue, 19 Apr 2016 14:00:00 +0200 Paradigm shift is an opportunity for high-tech industry The Internet of Things is really starting to take hold as the price of sensors plummets, opening the way for the industry to optimise processes and seize interesting new market opportunities.
