Special interest groups
ESI deploys so-called special interest groups (SIGs) with the objectives of synthesizing, creating and disseminating knowledge; knowledge on a slice of the embedded systems design pie.
The SIGs are actual, real-life cases, brought in by the participants and often related to one or more related ESI projects.
As ESI projects aim at covering specific slices of the system design pie, fruitful interactive discussions take place in which not only knowledge is shared but also augmented and enriched with new knowledge, thus providing a channel for dissemination.
The participants of the SIGs are recognised experts in the field who are communicative, willing to share and discuss in a positive and constructive way. These experts are selected by the ESI, using the aforementioned criteria.
SIGs are closed by necessity in order to create an atmosphere of trust and willingness to share.
Currently the following SIGs are active:
- Model-based development
- Integration & Test
Participation
When you are interested in participating in these SIGs, please contact the knowledge managers for more information. Since SIGs are considered as closed groups, participating in an existing SIG is also subject to general agreement of all participants of the knowledge circle.
