Executive Board
ESI is managed by an Executive Board that consists of three directors:
- Prof.dr.ir. B.R.H.M. Haverkort, Scientific Director and Chair
- Dr.ir. F.P.M. Beenker, Director Industrial Programmes
- Dr.ir. R.B. van Panthaleon van Eck, Director Operations
The Executive Board is responsible for all aspects of the organisation, including strategy & programme development, acquisition and execution of the research programme, realisation of the required programmes and KPIs, the required funding and financing, and finally, reporting to the stakeholders. The Executive Board is actively involved with the industrial, academic and public partners on all levels. It reports to the Supervisory Board.
Supervisory Board
The Supervisory Board is responsible for supervising the policy of and advising the Executive Board. It comprises seven members:

- Dr. R.G.M. Penning de Vries, Senior VP & CTO, NXP Semiconductors

- Dr.ir. R.H.J. Fastenau, Dean, Technical University Delft
- Prof.dr.ir. A.C.P.M. Backx, Dean, Technical University Eindhoven
- Prof.dr.ir. A.J. Mouthaan, Dean, University of Twente
International Advisory Board
The International Advisory Board reviews the ESI activities programme from a strategic point of view. This board froms a well-balanced representation from industry and academia and has no direct involvement with ESI activities. The members are appointed by the Supervisory Board for a period of three years. The current board consists of the following five members:
