ESI and Academia
With strong links to the technical universities of Delft, Eindhoven and Twente, academia plays a strategic role in ESI's open innovation approach to embedded system research.
Working with these and other academic institutions around the world, ESI performs extensive research into embedded systems technologies and design, including multiple large-scale collaborative research projects.
These collaborative projects combine the vast body of academic knowledge with practical values of engineers. They provide a structured platform that allows our academic partners to work together with our industrial partners and future embedded system challengers. This allows design knowledge to be shared amongst scientists, engineers and system architects, and provides an opportunity to validate innovations and academic findings against real world requirements.
